Book now your weekend in Asolo
It is hard to explain why we made some emotional choices that later became a business.
A family, some spaces to be restored while keeping the marks of the past, the idea of sharing beauty – from these points comes the idea of the first Residenza Diffusa (Eng. “dispersed hotel”), in Asolo.
You will have the opportunity to feel part of a small universe with a glorious past lived by poets and writers, artists and travelers who in their time discovered the Centorizzonti of this small village.
A village that tells itself over time
Staying in a widespread residence in Asolo is: breakfast in the center, a walk under the arcades, an aperitif in front of the immense Venetian landscape, the typical restaurants.
After only a few days, a familiarity is perceived that consists in recognizing and being recognized, in the feeling of being welcomed, of being in the right place.
Just like it happened to Ernest Hemingway, Eleonora Duse, Caterina Cornaro, Gian Francesco Malipiero or Robert Browning and Freya Stark.
Inside the widespread residence in the heart of Asolo, the furnishing, design and simplicity proposal is related to the needs of functionality.
No rooms are alike, the restoration has taken up the particular element of each space.
The spirit of the surrounding environment is preserved in harmony with the landscape, the horizon and the village.
The town with hundred horizons
“The town with a hundred horizons” with this happy name of Giosuè Carducci is known Asolo, a small village, a pearl set in the heart of Veneto and from here the Centorizzonti project takes its name.
Looking north, you can admire the Prosecco landscapes, now a unesco heritage site, which seem to create waves. To the south, the plain slopes down to the Venetian lagoon; in the distance the Euganean Hills after Padua and the Berici mountains to the west.
Asolo boasts a history that has merged, since the Middle Ages, with some of the most famous historical and female figures of all time.
From the unfortunate Queen of Cyprus, Caterina Cornaro, to the most famous actress of the beginning of the last century, Eleonora Duse.
And then Freya Stark, the English writer and explorer who chose Asolo not only as a holiday home but made it a refuge to spend the last years of her centenary life.
Women but also famous men including Pietro Bembo and Robert Browning have influenced the culture and history of this village among the most beautiful in Italy.
Precisely for its Centorizzonti, Asolo has been confirmed over time and today it maintains the characteristic of a destination for enthusiasts and lovers of beauty and art but not only.
The “Centorizzonti” project: a residence dedicated to travelers and the city itself.
